Who we are

Aubaine Archive is an independent site based in Connecticut, USA. Post: 206 Elm St #200277, New Haven, CT 06511. Questions or requests: inquiries@aubainearchive.com.

The short version

You don't need an account. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, we don't sell or share your personal information, and we collect your email address only if you give it to us.

What stays on your device

Saved pieces, saved searches, boards and preferences are stored in your own browser. They're never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

What we collect

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers only to run the site: Vercel (hosting and analytics), and our email provider (to store signups and send emails). They may process data in the United States. We don't sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to build profiles.

Links, photos and affiliate partners

Product photos load directly from the marketplace or shop that listed them, so that site may see a standard request from your browser. When you click through to a seller, including through an affiliate link, the seller's and the affiliate network's own privacy policies apply. Affiliate networks may set their own cookies on their sites to credit the sale.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time. Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you, and we'll answer within 30 days. Residents of places with privacy laws, such as California, Connecticut, other US states, the UK and the EU, have these rights by law, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

Children

The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us an email address, tell us and we'll delete it.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and we keep as little data as we can. No system is perfectly secure, but if something goes wrong that affects your data, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If we start collecting something new about you, we'll say so here before we do.
